The structured waistband actually distributes my toddler's weight instead of digging in, which I didn't expect from a handwoven. The purple weft is gorgeous in person too, richer than the photos showed.
The handwoven cotton is way softer against my arms than I expected for something this structured. My 2-year-old rode in it through the whole farmers market without a single complaint, and the purple weft got a few compliments too.
