The bamboo and eucalyptus blend makes this thing ridiculously soft right out of the package, no breaking in period at all. My toddler passed out in it on our first walk and the cotton weave didn't dig into my shoulder once.
I was worried a woven would feel stiff, but the eucalyptus blend makes this sling broken-in soft right out of the box. My daughter falls asleep in it within minutes, and the fabric breathes well enough that neither of us gets sweaty on walks.
I was nervous about ring slings feeling stiff, but this one softened up beautifully after a couple of wears, and the bamboo-viscose blend makes it breathable for my warm baby.
