The handwoven cotton is so soft right out of the box, no breaking in needed. My daughter falls asleep in it within minutes, and the structured waistband actually supports my back on longer walks.
I was worried the woven fabric would feel stiff, but it's softer than my old stretchy wrap right out of the box. The structured waistband actually supports my lower back on longer walks, which I didn't expect from something handmade.
I wasn’t sure how a handwoven carrier would hold up to daily use, but the cotton weave feels both sturdy and incredibly soft against my shoulder. The stewed rhubarb color with that subtle purple weft is even prettier in person, and it’s already molded perfectly to my toddler.
