The panel actually widens as my daughter grows, so I'm not shopping for a second carrier six months in. She naps in it on walks and her legs sit in that proper M position instead of dangling. Worth every penny.
I've been using this daily since my son was about six weeks old and the panel still fits him well now that he's nearly a toddler. The waistband actually sits where it should instead of digging into my hips, which was my main gripe with our old carrier.
The cotton fabric feels so much softer than typical baby gear, and I love that I can cinch the seat down for my newborn without fiddling with a separate infant insert. It's survived daily walks for three months and still looks brand new, which says a lot given how much this thing gets used.
